2nd Annual Union Square Coloring Book Celebrates Local Businesses

US2 partnered with local illustrator Stephanie Vecellio to create the second edition of our Scenes from Somerville coloring book, celebrating the character and charm of eight beloved Union Square businesses: Bow Market, Play Union, Hub Comics, Mota, Neighborhood Restaurant, The Independent, Union Square Donuts, and Tiny Turns Paperie.

Each illustration was drawn from life—some from a well-placed bench, others from an inviting front stoop—capturing the spirit of the neighborhood through Stephanie’s unique lens.

In honor of National Coloring Book Day (August 2), US2 donated books to children at Somerville Public Schools’ Adventure Program, CAAS, the City’s Parks & Recreation Teen Center, and each of the featured businesses.
