Activating Union Square Station Plaza with Earth Day and Bike to Work Week Events

As part of our commitment to public space activation and sustainability, US2 hosted two community-focused events at Union Square Station Plaza.

In late April, to celebrate Earth Day, 150 visitors received potted plants from Ricky’s Flowers—a gesture to brighten commutes and promote green living.

In mid-May, during Bike to Work Week, US2 teamed up with Prospect Union Square and Landry’s Bicycles to offer a free Bike Check-Up Clinic, encouraging healthy, sustainable transportation while supporting local cycling enthusiasts.

Both events helped activate the plaza and brought the community together around shared values of sustainability and wellness
