Final Transit Infrastructure in Support of Union Square Station Completed

US2 has substantially completed the permanent infrastructure improvements that support the Union Square MBTA Station. Key milestones include:

March 2022: Delivery of the station’s elevator, bike storage room, and primary access—enabling the station’s grand opening.
July 2023: Opening of permanent pedestrian access across Station Plaza.
October 2023: Completion of the MBTA employee breakroom and The RIDE drop-off at Charlestown Place.

With the opening of the permanent breakroom, the temporary trailer adjacent to the station was removed, making way for expanded greenspace.
